Transportation text-message consent
Aurora Logistics sends transportation confirmations and operational updates only after a rider or authorized contact gives express consent. Consent is optional and is not required to receive transportation services.
Verbal consent script used by Aurora staff
Aurora Logistics can send you recurring text messages about your scheduled transportation. These messages may include ride confirmation requests, reminders, driver arrival-time updates, notification that your driver is outside, questions about whether you are ready or need more time, cancellation requests, and an optional service survey. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to text messages is optional and is not required to receive transportation services. You may reply HELP for assistance or STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Do you agree to receive these automated transportation text messages from Aurora Logistics at the mobile number you provided?
How the conversation works
- 1 — confirm the ride or tell Aurora you are ready.
- 2 — tell Aurora you need more time. Aurora then asks for minutes or a requested pickup time.
- 3 — request cancellation or say you are not going. Aurora staff reviews the request; an unanswered message never cancels a ride automatically.
- 4 — request coordination with the assigned driver.
- 5 — request a call from the Aurora office.
Message details
Messages may be sent in English, Spanish, Arabic, or Russian according to the recipient’s saved preference. Message frequency varies with scheduled transportation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe.
Aurora does not include diagnoses, appointment reasons, member identifiers, or medical information in ordinary text messages. A rider without an approved personal mobile number remains on the office call list.
Consent records
Aurora records the mobile number, consent status, consent date and time, collection method, and staff account that collected consent. A STOP reply changes the record to opted out and prevents future automated Aurora transportation texts unless the person later opts in again through an approved process.
